First, a disclaimer. Don't expect anything clever or witty. It isn't going to happen.
We have had Halee and her two children here for the last two weeks. It has been so fun. We took them to the airport yesterday so it is really quiet here today. I had forgotten how much energy it takes to chase a two year old around (and Madelynn is a very active two year old). So today I am using my day of rest to do just that--rest.
One day this week at nap time, Madelynn and I were racing to the bed to read her books. I yelled, "last one on the bed is a turkey". After we hit the bed I asked her who the turkey was. She turned to me and said, "You're a dinosaur, I the turkey". Halee thought it was really funny, but I am wondering at this child's perceptiveness. I am starting to feel a little like a dinosaur.

YEAH!!!! We have not been able to sleep at night, because we have been so excited for when you will blog! Cute grandkids- I wish we could see everyone more!

haha. that is such a mean comment by your grandchild, but very hilarious. but i have to say my grandma never raced me anywhere, so i dont think you are a dinosaur.

Nancy, I'm so glad you posted something. I had almost quit checking to see if you were ever going to. Looks like you had a great time with Halee and the kids. Keep it up Nancysaurus.
Hey, being a dinosaur would be a HUGE compliment coming from my son Dawson!! He thinks they are the COOLEST!
I finally made it over here to your blog and I am glad I did! You did a great job and you even added photo's!
Also, I am glad you have "busy" gandkids so when you come get your hair done my "busy" kids don't alarm you!
I am still giggling over you telling me that when your son was a little guy he would say he wanted to be a male stipper! soo funny!
